Augustana University Fryxell Scholarship Application

Eligibility requirements

Students planning to pursue a major in the Humanities are invited to apply for the Fryxell Scholarship. Preference is given to those studying English or Journalism, however, additional eligible majors include Anthropology, Art, Classics, Communication Studies, French, Media Studies, Languages, Literatures & Cultures, Philosophy, Religion, Spanish and Theatre.

Students awarded the Fryxell Scholarship must maintain both a major in the Humanities and a 3.0 GPA for annual renewal. Applications must be submitted no later than February 15. Applications will be reviewed until all scholarships have been awarded.

Students must first be admitted to Augustana University before being considered for this scholarship.
